1. Freewrite. Students wrote two lines in iambic pentameter about spring break. We then shared these with the class and corrected them as needed.
2. Begin Romeo and Juliet. We listened to and answered questions about the first scene of the play. We will read the first act together in class, but the rest of the acts students will need to read some on their own. This means students will be issued a textbook at the beginning of next week or they can purchase/borrow from the library their own copy of the play.

2. Speaking Shakespeare. We practiced these techniques together in class.
3. Students worked on labeling which techniques to use in their lines.
