1. Winter tableau. We began our class by coming up with a fictional or real image of a scene related to winter. From there, we wrote a simple sentence to describe the scene, then added progressively more description, in the form of adjectives and adverbs until we made one final sentence. Do it on your own if you were absent using this sheet: Do now winter tableau.
2. Adverbs notes. We added some notes on adverbs to W20. Ask a classmate for the notes if you were absent. We listened to Tom Lehrer’s “L-Y” at this time (see top).
3. Begin on homework (if time).
