- A few minutes of this video explaining the bad feelings between poor whites and freed blacks in the post-reconstruction South (start at 8:35)
- The poem “Rosa Parks” by Nikki Giovanni and this video interview (start at 10:50)
- The painting Both Members of This Club and this graphic organizer: Art Examination Both Members of this Club
