2. Collaborative annotations. Students worked with their motif groups to annotate a passage that answers a group-created question.
3. Assertion-making. Groups developed an assertion about the passage.

Honors read ch. 6-11 in Mockingbird and complete 2 motif journal entries. You should have a total of 5 entries. Due Wednesday.
Standard read ch. 6, 9, and 10 in Mockingbird and complete 2 motif journal entries. You should have a total of 4 entries. Due Wednesday.
Honors Project read Other Voices, Other Rooms through ch. 3 by Wednesday. You should complete at least half of your motif journal entries on this novel.
