1. Review of new qualities of the journey. Students explained how their group devised a new element of the journey yesterday. We discussed whether the element was really new an whether it fit the criteria.
2. Writing. On the back of their guided notes on the painting, students filled out a paragraph planning sheet in which they used evidence from The Odyssey to prove that their new element appeared in the text. Students turned this planning sheet and paragraph (if Honors) in at the end of class.
HW: Odyssey Honors project must be dropped off in my room or at the office (with your name on your book) by next Thursday at the latest.
