1. Students received their graded vocab tests. Overall, scores were very good! I even ran out of gold stars, there were so many As! Time to restock… We reviewed the questions many students missed (the difference between inter and intra) as well as clarifying some of the SAT words (indignation means anger, not injustice; ambivalent and indifferent don’t mean the same thing [Twilight example!]).
2. Oral quiz. We reviewed the reading from Ch. 23 – Ch. 27 aloud, including an in-depth discussion of why Tom Robinson is shot 17 times.
HW: Motif Journal entry due tomorrow (Regular #7, Honors #8). Finish reading the novel for Thursday.
