Today we had another writer’s workshop with special guests from the DSA Publishing Staff (sophomores, juniors, and seniors at our school) and Duke University’s Writing 20 program. These mentors helped students with their memoirs by providing feedback. Ask your child about it! It was super-cool! And the upperclassmen really enjoyed helping out.
If you were absent, you should revise one scene from your memoir and print it out for Monday. If you feel like you need more feedback, just email it to me.
HW: Revise the scene you read in class today. HONORS: Revise both the scene and the symbolism paragraph.
