Today we met in the Media Center, where Ms. Fowler took half the class to work on symbolism and Ms. Garvoille took the other half to continue working on similes and metaphors.

Similes Lesson
Students typed up their similes and metaphors writing on GoogleDocs, highlighting in yellow the words from their chart from yesterday.
HW: Finish similes and metaphors piece for Friday (PRINTED). HONORS: Finish symbolism paragraph for Friday.
