Day 162: Close Reading

1. Oral Quiz on Book 12.

2. Close reading model. If needed, we continued looking at the close reading example from yesterday.

3. Close reading practice. Students then chose their own passage to analyze and write a thesis statement about until the end of class.

HW: Read Book 16 and 17 for tomorrow.
