1. Today we started out by rephrasing some of Shakespeare’s lines of poetry to make them more readable.
2. Then, we briefly reviewed the action in scenes one and two of act two.
3. Students read a Dear Amy column and we discussed whether 14 is too young to be in love.
4. Finally, students looked at quotes from Act II and decided whether the quote showed a character was feeling love or lust. We categorized all the quotes by character and realized (big surprise!) that Romeo feels the most lust out of the two of them.
HW: Review for WordSkills Test 6 on Quizlet. I will give extra credit to the five top scores. Read through the end of Act II for Thursday.
