Today we learned some new words! Then we spent some time on imagery.
1. Students took notes on Unit 1 word parts # 3-5, which included the SAT words “ambiguous,” “ambivalent,” and “condescending.” Then, students wrote three sentences using these words.
2. We looked at the imagery planning homework and began writing our planning into complete sentences and paragraphs.
HW: Write 1/2 – 1 page on loose leaf paper describing a place that will appear in your memoir. You must use imagery. Due tomorrow.
