Today, we played the Grammar Game, which involves combining words (specific parts of sentences, ie adjective, direct object) to make sentence patterns.
It was incredible!
1. Wordskills. We took notes on the word part “in.” Get notes from a friend if you were absent.
2. Grammar Game. We played 5-8 rounds of the sentence constructing game in groups.
3. Notes. We took guided notes on nouns, pronouns, and adjectives. We will continue with adverbs tomorrow and students will receive their grammar homework assignment, due on October 27.
No homework tonight.
