Day 12: The Place Piece

Today students spent the period writing a piece about an important place. This exercised their ability to describe using concrete details, including smell, taste, touch, sight, and sound.

I also spent part of the period conferencing with individual students about what area of their life they would like to focus the remainder of their writings on.
