Our agenda:
- Passbacks. Students received graded homework. Any student wishing to take home grades can check out their homework folder.
- Memoir Reflection. Students reflected on the process of writing their memoir by answering these questions. If you were absent, please download the worksheet and answer questions 1-8.
- WordSkills. We got through almost all of the 25 word parts in the first unit of our vocabulary study.
HW: None for tomorrow. WordSkills Unit 1 test will be on Monday 10/5. All students are welcome to attend before-school review sessions on Friday 10/2 and Monday 10/5 at 8:00 a.m. Students will receive 1-2 points of extra credit for attending. Students can also earn 1 point for having full vocabulary notes and 2 points for making flashcards. (That’s a total of 5 possible points! Almost a whole letter grade!)
This week we will begin preparations to read Homer’s The Odyssey, which I am very excited about.
