Today was our first day of vocabulary instruction. We covered word parts 1 – 5.
- WordSkills poster presentations and vocab instruction. We took our time understanding how and why WordSkills works.
- “Slice of Life” storytelling. We practiced finding meaning in small moments by telling partners the story of our morning or our passing period. This week we will be writing about a small moment like this.
HW: Read “The Giant Water Bug” by Thursday. Prepare to present a WordSkills poster on Thursday if you’re up.
